What's Next Conference

 

To enter, simply send us an e-mail with your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, occupation and a one-line description of your business idea. If you have a team, how many members are there? To be eligible, we must receive your e-mail by March 1, 2004.

Your next step will be to send us a 3 to 5 page Executive Summary of your business plan, due March 19, 2004. You will be asked to sign an Acknowledgement of Policies and Procedures Statement at the time of your submission. We will send it to you via e-mail once we receive your Executive Summary.

* Please send your Executive Summary via e-mail as well as providing a hard copy. See addresses below.

You will be notified March 24, 2004, if your plan is one of the Top 20 semifinalists chosen. If it is, your complete business plan is due March 31, 2004. The Top 5 finalists will be selected and notified on April 5, 2004.

* If you are in the Top 20, please send your complete business plan via e-mail as well as providing a hard copy. See addresses below.

From the Top 5 finalists, the $10,000 Grand Prize Winner will be selected on April 14, 2004. All five finalists will present their business plans at the American Society on Aging's Conference on April 14, 2004, in San Francisco.

Executive Summaries due (3-5 pages)
March 19, 2004

Top 20 semifinalists selected, all contestants notified
March 24, 2004

Top 20 semifinalists' complete business plans due
March 31, 2004

Top 5 finalists selected, all semifinalists notified
April 5, 2004

Competition presentations - Top 5
business plans awarded. Grand Prize Winner selected.
April 14, 2004
