Postponement of the “What’s Next Longevity Business Summit” in Atlanta

March 6, 2020

We are writing today to share our decision to postpone our What’s Next Longevity Business Summit due to the continuing concerns about the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreakAs we have been constantly monitoring the status of the situation with the CDC, we are finding that many companies across various industries, including a few for our event, are restricting or prohibiting corporate travel. All of this is guiding thought leader organizations, such as HIMSS, to cancel their events and conferences. The last 24 hours has shown us the inability to accurately assess the risk potential for the virus to spread. Rather than wait until a few days before the event, which would be more disruptive to your businesses and busy lives, we are making this decision now to ease any ongoing concerns and costs.

Obviously, our greatest concern is the health safety of our loyal community of speakers and sponsors and the health and safety of the older adults and caregivers they serve.

The good news is we have decided to take the Atlanta agenda of exceptional speakers and sponsors and add them to what will now be a bonus day and expanded conference to be called “What’s Next Longevity Business & Venture Summit” on June 24-25 at the Claremont Hotel and Spa in Berkeley, California.

We appreciate the hard work and dedication all of you have made to be part of our Atlanta event and we look forward to continuing to work with you on the event in Berkeley in June.

Of course, we realize with this change of date and venue some of you may not be able to participate in the Summit in June. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to be able to have you as a valuable contributor at future What’s Next events. As always, feel free to reach out directly with any additional questions or concerns.

Once again, we feel sincerely blessed to work with all of you and appreciate your support and understanding.

Best wishes,
Mary Furlong & Associates
